…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13

At Calvary, we believe we are called to help all people become mature followers of Christ. Whether you are new to your faith or actively maturing in your faith, we want to equip you to take your next step in your walk with God through opportunities to learn and grow.

The Good Book
Wednesdays at 7pm
Community Room, Hazel Dell Campus

The bible is a big book. Hundreds of characters and thousands of ideas parade across its pages from beginning to end. From uninitiated to the very seasoned, readers of the Bible will always find something new to learn. During this class, you will learn more about the most salient themes about God in the Bible. With the goal of providing a sketch of each idea, each session will break down the concept into two smaller sections to unpack the meat behind the theme. At the center of the series stands God, and each theme will focus on who He is in relationship to His created order.

A participant guide is recommended for this class and can be purchased on Amazon

Adulting -
for young adults
Sundays at 9am
Community Room, Hazel Dell Campus

After strenuous studies, you walk across the stage, gripping your diploma - you've arrived! Adult at last! All of a sudden, instead of a diploma you hold a paycheck in one hand and a stack of bills in the other. You find yourself swimming in the treacherous seas of adulthood surrounded by 401ks, insurance, bosses, potential spouses, and everything in between. How can you begin to navigate your 20s and 30s and still honor God in the process?

In this six-week series, you will learn how to "adult" for Christ. Get prepared to walk through how to discern God's will for your life right now and specify how you can best glorify Him through your career, relationships and commitments.
