…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13

At Calvary, we believe we are called to help all people become mature followers of Christ. Whether you are new to your faith or actively maturing in your faith, we want to equip you to take your next step in your walk with God through opportunities to learn and grow.

Starting Point
Sundays at 10:30am
Welcome Center, Hazel Dell Campus

Starting Point is just that: a point for those new to Calvary to start to learn more about the life God created for them and how we live that out at Calvary Church. This four-week class will help you know more about God, Calvary Church, and your purpose as well as help you understand how those three things work together to help you fulfill God's plan for your life. We encourage everyone to attend Starting Point no matter how long you have been attending Calvary.

Step Two - Connection. Community.
 - Second Sunday of every month

Step Three - Discover Purpose

For more information about how you can get involved with Equip or about any of the current opportunities, please contact Pastor Dawn in the Church Office.

It Starts at Home

Wednesdays at 7pm, Starting September 5
Community Room, Hazel Dell Campus

Our children can grow up smart, athletic, popular, and polite but lack a vibrant relationship with Christ. The few hours they spend in church each week can be helpful, but it cannot nurture a faith in our kids that will withstand the trials that are on the horizon. Church alone cannot teach them. We must start at home, but many parents feel ill equipped to develop the faith of their children.

In these six sessions, we will explore biblical and tangible ways that parents—couples, single parents, blended families and grandparents—can build a legacy of faith for their children.

What We Believe

Wednesdays at 7pm, Starting September 5
Welcome Center, Hazel Dell Campus

This class will focus on the fundamental beliefs that guide our faith and practices at Calvary. Whether you are new to Calvary or attended for many years, don't miss this opportunity to be part of the movement.

True Fiction - The Parables of Jesus

Wednesdays at 7pm, Starting September 5
Sanctuary, Hazel Dell Campus

Stories help us make concepts into realities...and Jesus was a master storyteller. Jesus' parables help us to understand God's heart for our lives in everyday language. Join us as we look at the parables and discover how the seed of God's word can grow and produce great fruitfulness in our lives.

The Books of the Bible - Calvary Kids
Wednesdays at 7pm, Starting September 5
Sanctuary, Hazel Dell Campus

Calvary Kids will learn about the books of the Bible along with some simply hand motions to help them remember what each book is about. We desire that by the end of the 12-week series, kids will be able to say all 66 books of the Bible from memory and have a general idea of what each book is about.

New Hope - Calvary Youth
Wednesdays at 7pm, Starting September 5
Oasis, Jefferson Street Campus

During this series, we will encourage students to reach other students so that they might find hope that can come only from Jesus Christ.
