…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13

At Calvary, we believe we are called to help all people become mature followers of Christ. Whether you are new to your faith or actively maturing in your faith, we want to equip you to take your next step in your walk with God through opportunities to learn and grow.

Understanding the Times
Wednesdays at 7pm
Sanctuary, Hazel Dell Campus

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. – Colossians 2:8

As Christians, we’re surrounded by worldviews and perspectives that clash with the precepts taught in the Bible. Understanding the Times will help any believer who wants to grasp the nuances and implications of these cultural trends—and respond to them with grace and wisdom.

Join us as we examine and compare the six most prominent worldviews influencing the world today: Christianity, Islam, Secularism, Marxism, New Spirituality, and Postmodernism.
