- Series: The Personality of a Dynamic Church
The dynamic church is filled with people of faith. Without our faith it is impossible to please God. What is more important than living to please God? This impacts every part of our lives. God promises to reward those who seek Him in prayer. What would happen if everyone prayed the way you pray?
PERSONALITY OF A DYNAMIC CHURCH
You Gotta Believe
Pastor Mark Johnson

Today a dynamic church is filled with people of faith.
Hebrews 11:6
Hebrews 11:1
A dynamic church is filled with people who believe that in this world, where we see and feel, there is a God who is all-knowing, all powerful, and ever present here with us.
A Dynamic Church is filled with people whose lives are totally affected by the truth that God exists.
What is more important than living to please this God?
Jesus said it:
Matthew 16:24
To be pleasing to God, I must believe that He exists.
He is here; He has a will and that will has been revealed through His son Jesus.
What part of my life does this not impact?
2 keys to this verse.
-
Believe that God exists.’
-
Believe that He rewards those who seek Him.’
Prayer makes a church dynamic because God promises to reward faith filled prayer.
Hebrews 11:6
Prayer is the action that follows the conviction that God exists.
If we get everything else right and miss the power of prayer, we miss the added power of God in our lives.
The Book of Acts provides several examples of the early believers coming together to pray. Acts 1:14-2:41; 2:42-47; 4:23-31; 6:3-7
After praying, those early believers were empowered by the Spirit, and people were saved.
You might say, ‘I have prayed before and not seen the results.’
Hebrews 11:6
Luke 18:1
Mark 11:22
Christians moan over the loss of prayer in our secular schools but …
Where is prayer in your life?
Where is prayer in your faith?
Where is prayer in your church?
A dynamic church is a praying church.
