Hebrews 11:8

Elements to foundations of rock solid faith:

1. The voice of Faith
   1. Christians need to learn how to discern the voice of God.
   2. The goal is for the Lord to teach us something.
   3. Don’t base the voice of God on circumstances.
   4. God’s voice is always found in the Word

                       i.      Study yourself to death, and pray yourself back to life.

2. The venture of Faith
   1. Abraham ventured out, and did not know where he was going.
   2. Many Christians stop following the leader, and start following the follower.
   3. If you let a hypocrite get between you and God, then the hypocrite is closer to God than you are.
   4. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
   5. You don’t need to know where you are going, just know who you are following.
3. The value of Faith
   1. Faith changes our perspective.
   2. Faith causes us to let go of the trivial things
   3. Develop a pilgrim perspective.
   4. It takes faith to live in a tent.
4. The vision of Faith
   1. Vision is not about bigness, it is about clarity.
   2. Vision: if you don’t see it before you see it, then you will never see it.
   3. Christians need to get excited about heaven.
   4. If you understand the beginning and the end, the middle all makes sense.
5. The victory of Faith
   1. God told Abraham, “I will bless you like the stars.”

                  i.      Don’t be afraid of the dark, because it is there you find the most stars.

   2. God promises Abraham innumerable blessings.
   3. Our blessings have become innumerable.
   4. With every step forward, God compounds the blessings.
