These steps are the natural response of a heart that loves God and wants His will, and does not have His will. We need to fall in love with God. Holiness begins with desire. Do you desire to be pleasing to God or to yourself. It is our lack of holiness that build barriers.

These are not lessons in how to get God to do what we want.
The steps we are talking about are the natural response of a heart that loves God and wants his will and does not have his will.
I. HOW DOES LOVE GROW IN OUR HEARTS?
Here is how we fall in love with God.
Just take a look. Does God look good to you?
1. We were made with a purpose.
2. There is eternal life.
Then you get to know God. Some of them freak me out. Some are cruel, some are needy, and some don’t seem to be very bright.
When I see that I begin to fall in love with God.
We all know that but
II. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FALL IN LOVE?
-
When you love you become devoted.
-
Love makes you respect them.
-
Love makes you give generously.
-
Love makes you want to spend time.
Love changes you.
Breaking Barriers begins with loving, really loving God.
III. WHEN YOU LOVE GOD YOU WANT TO BE LIKE HIM.
1 Pet 1:14-16
Read 1 Peter this week looking for his instruction on how to live a holy life.
Holiness begins with desire. Do I desire to be pleasing to God or do I desire to be pleasing to myself?
Ps 147:10-11
Holiness is key to breaking barriers. It is our lack of Holiness that builds the barriers.
