The Power of the Word

We have to do something about ourselves. We have an enemy of our soul. The only hope we have is the Word of God. We can only change by applying the principles we learn about in the Bible. Without the Word, we are easily deceived. We are hostile towards God and the only way to fix it is through studying the Word.

We have to understand something about ourselves.
Romans 8:6-8
That is the picture of us and our children.
 
The mind of a sinful man is death, and hostile toward God.
 
The only hope is the Word of Truth. The Word is powerful. But we neglect it.
         
Hebrews 4:12
 
The mind and Spirit of man is helpless without the Word.
 
The Word will bring judgment to the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Ephesians 5:25-27
Psalm 119:9-16
The Word protects us, keeps us and purifies us.
What is our problem? Without the Word, we are deceivable.
John 8:42-44
 
What is the purpose of a lie: to deceive.

The only hope for my life or children is the Word. There is a problem.
