It is TIme to be Scared

The course of all temptations that we face is to rob us of God's plan for our lives. The devil tried to stop Jesus from fulfilling God's divine purpose and he will attempt to do the same with you.

Matthew 4:1-11  

 

I. The Three Temptations:

          A. Turn the stones into bread

          B. Put the Father to a test 

          C. Bow down to Satan     

 

II. These temptations were aimed at robbing Jesus of His divine destiny.

 

This is the course of all temptation: to rob you of God’s plan for your life.  

 

Listen to how Jesus puts it in John 10:10.

 

III. I want to raise your awareness and scare you.

 

Where are you weak to temptation?

James 1:13 – 16

 

          A. Live life God’s way.

          B. Know God’s Word.

          C. Follow the deeper principle of His Lordship.

          D. Worship God only.
