Jesus gave us the path to a total life makeover. The command we are given is to love the Lord your God. Agape love is about choice, not about feeling. We are called to love God with our whole being! We are called to love God with all our heart, the core of our being. We are also called to love God with all of our soul, the core of our emotions. Finally, we are called to love God with all our mind, the thoughts and intellect. Whole health comes by worship, prayer, and the Word.

In the church and outside the church, God’s Glory is to be revealed in the individual’s transformed life.
Jesus gives us the path to the Total Life Makeover.

This is a command.

Love the your God.
The word for love is “agape”. It is not about feeling; it is about choice.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Agape is about action.

We are to love God with all our heart, soul, and
mind. This represents our whole being!
HOW DO I GET THESE THREE AREAS OF MY LIFE REALLY CONNECTED TO GOD AND HIS WILL?

The heart = the core of my being.
Psalm 138:1-8; Ephesians 5:8-10; Ephesians 5:17-20
IS THERE A DIRECT CONNECTION WITH WORSHIP AND THE HEALTH OF THE HEART?

We are to love God with all our soul = the core of our emotions.
Matthew 26:36-38
COULD PRAYER BE THE PATHWAY TO A HEALTHY SOUL?
Matthew 21:12-13; 1 Corinthians 3:16

We are to love God with all our minds = the thoughts, the intellect. This is how we
think about the world.
Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 5:25-33
THE KEY TO A HEALTHY MIND IS THE WORD OF GOD!
The ELIGHTENED PRAY FOR REVELATION. The answer is to let God’s light shine through us. But, we must love him with all our heart, soul, and mind.
Whole health comes by WORSHIP, PRAYER, AND THE WORD.
