Our past experiences and a our reading of God's word and what He has done in the past is supposed to build faith in our lives for the things we face today. Faith without obedience leaves us wandering in the desert.
A NEW WAY OF LIVING
Numbers 14:1-12
They had observed all the miracles of deliverance but it made no difference
Each event in life calls for Faith in God to add his part to it.
Hebrews 11:1
Faith requires obedience or you end up in the desert.
Faith is always a stretch. It is always a leap too far. It is always too much. Faith requires us throwing ourselves in God’s hand when God seems to be absent.
A new way of living:
- How do you treat others? (Matthew 5:43-44)
- How do you act in the day of loss? (1 Thess. 3:13)
- How do you see the economy? (Malachi 3:10)
- How do you view temptation? (James 1:13-15)
- How do you view the needy? (Matthew 25:30-40)
- How do you face a world in opposition? (Acts 4:23-30)
- How do you see Jesus? (Heb. 3:16-4:2)
