A Grateful Heart

PERSONALITY OF A DYNAMIC CHURCH
A Grateful Heart

The personality of the church is made up of the personality of the attendees.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)

How would you describe yourself?

God describes the attitude He wants for His followers in very simple terms.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

The level of gratefulness in life should be in direct proportion to the impact on our lives.

How grateful are you every day to God?

What do you have that has not been given to you by God?

What hope for the future do you have without God?

It is blindness and lack of faith that leaves us with complaining and a bitter heart toward life and God.

1. All creation shows His power.

2. The cross shows His love.

A dynamic believer and a dynamic church is one that has a grateful heart.

God gives us everything. We need his help in all things.

1. In good things.

2. What about the bad?  The Bible says be thankful in all circumstances.

  1. We can be thankful of the assurance of God’s love.
  2. We can be thankful of the promise of God’s presence.
  3. We can be thankful for the knowledge of God’s power.
