Thought for Today
The battle for our hearts and our devotion begins in our thought life. If Satan can convince you of a certain thing in your mind, your actions will surely follow. If negative thoughts are allowed to linger, depression, anger, and discouragement will result. On the contrary, if we are obedient to the challenge of taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), we stop the Enemy dead in his tracks.
You are in charge of your thoughts! Your thoughts, in turn, are critical to how you act and feel. When your head hits the pillow tonight, it’s just you and God. A clear conscience is a result of firm convictions and consistent actions.
